What is a Christmas tree without presents? As part of our Season of Giving theme this year, the Kids Church of Central Square Congregational Church is partnering with Cardinal Cushing School in Hanover. Cardinal Cushing is a school that "...provide(s) an environment that facilitates healthy emotional, personal, and physical growth for all students with mild to severe special needs including autism, intellectual disabilities, and other multiple challenges."
CSCC is asking for donations of items for their school store. But this is no ordinary store. Students earn 'paw prints' daily for good behavior and accomplishing goals in school. They then trade those paw prints in for an item at the school store at the end of the week, or bank them for a larger item the next week.
Items should be no more than $5...toys, coloring books, colored pencils, markers, games, puzzles. Unwrapped items can be put in the donation box inside the side door to the church (Church St. entrance) any time the building is open for office hours, meetings, or Sunday worship; or the donation box at the church thrift shop, Wed and Sat, 10-1.
