The Community Engagement Team is hoping you can help us spread the word as we look for volunteers for Autumn Fest!

Autumn Fest is Saturday, September 26 from 10:00 AM–4:00 PM, and we would love to have people spend an hour or two helping at our table. We could especially use some extra hands during the middle of the day.

If you're able to lend us a hand, we would really appreciate it! Contact Heather Ciaramitaro, Stephanie Holmgren, Drew Sullivan, or the church office with questions or to volunteer.

It's a little bit down the road, but it'll be here before you know it. 

The Fair and Turkey Dinner is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the church, and there are lots of jobs - big and small - that go along with it. Keep checking back here for the link to sign up to contribute what you can - make a pie? help serve at the turkey dinner? lend a hand at lunch?

Wanted: Fire Steward!

Job Description: Are you someone who believes that lighting a candle is a sacred responsibility? Do you have what it takes to arrive at church before everyone else and boldly face… the Christ Candle?

We are seeking a Fire Steward to tend to the light of Christ by:

* Making sure the Christ Candle is lit before Sunday worship begins.

* Checking that the memorial candles have enough oil to keep shining.

* Keeping a watchful eye on our holy flames.

* Ensuring that the sanctuary is appropriately illuminated for worship, prayer, and the occasional search for the bulletin you just dropped.

Qualifications: Must be comfortable with fire, oil, and the awesome responsibility of making sure nobody asks, “Who forgot to light the candle?”

Benefits: The satisfaction of knowing that, each Sunday, you literally help keep the light of Christ shining.

No previous experience required. Training provided. Candle-lighting expertise strongly preferred. Contact Rev. Beth or the church office with questions or to sign up.

Come tend the flame. Keep the faith. Don’t burn the place down.

We are still in need of more volunteers. Pick your day Wednesday or Saturday (note that the shop is closed Saturdays during August). Work 1 day or 4 days a month. Whatever works for you, will definitely work for us. Best help would be 9-11am, and 1-3pm. Contact the church office if you can help out. It's a great team to work with!
